Get Your Life Together Tools
I have this irrational fear that I'll buy a $.99 App and never use it meaning I'll have wasted a whole US dollar on an interweb scam; they've got my money so they gon' get this 1 star review. This may or may not be because I grew up in a time where the big bag of Hot Cheetos was only $.99 and that bag never went to waste. Nonetheless, here I am in the year 2018 splurging on $4.99 apps all in the name of organization and productivity. Scroll through to see my real time reviews on my favorite ways to stay on my grind with ease.
Notablity is one of my favorite tools ever. I am one of those self proclaimed, defintiely proven always on the go girls. I literally never have the time to sit and write on my laptop. Notability is where I draft most of my blog posts and save thoughts for future Instagram posts. I'm able to format and play with fonts within the app before fully commiting to the look. I used the Apple Notes app religiously for this but before the update, they didn't offer much for organization within the app. Notablity allows you to create color coded folders & folders within those folders.
I fell in love with Notebook a few months ago because look at how pretty it is! I wish I was joking but I intially downloaded this app to my iPhone because it was a shiny new organizational app. Now I utilize it on my Macbook as well for an awesome form of creating lists, keeping a journal and also creating uniquely formatted blog posts. This app became an upgrade to Notablity but I use both simultaneously and now that I think of it, I use notebook alot more when note taking on my laptop. I love memories and nostalgia and with Notebook I can save photos with full thoughts about the experiences.
I'm going to keep this one short & sweet, just know I have receipts. Thanks to Copied, anything I copy from any app or platform on my phone is stored on my clipboard in the app. And yes, anything; photos, websites, pdfs. This is perfect for me as I am constantly reading, highlighting & sharing information online. Copied became the next best thing after the Undo button because far too often I would lose content when I forgot to paste it somewhere before copying something else!
Tangibility is the first word that comes to mind when I think of manifestation and success. Writing goals down, not saying them out loud, makes the steps to achieving them seem less daunting. This is what I use my passion planner for! I set weekly & daily goals, daily to do lists, daily "3 things I am grateful for," and I often say, "if it's not in my Passion Planner, I'm probably not doing it." Before I invested in Productivity apps on my iPhone, I made sure I always had a few colored pens to organize my week in my planner. This is the third year I've used a Passion Planner and not only does it help me realize my goals but I am able to create a small keepsake for every year!
There's always a great sale and they even have undated planners so you can start planning any time of the year! Not ready to commit? Download any of their free PDFs and join the #PASHFAM.
There are a few Pomodoro time management apps and I have gone through a few. Be Focused became my favorite because I am able set intervals for work and for rest! Working for myself means I can absolutely choose to do nothing for days at a time and can't nobody tell me nothing about it! In order to stay on a task and get shit done, I challenge myself with as many intervals as possible to get the most done that I can. Be Focused also allows you to create lists where you can gauge how much work you've done in different categories of your life!
I hope you all find these helpful! Let me know if there are anymore daily tools I should be using in this lifetime!
